Off the plum tree,
離開李樹,
Right onto the net.
直落網上.
The plums are ripe,
李子成熟,
And the plums are juicy.
且多汁.
Suck up the sweet juice of paradise,
吮取天堂蜜水,
Leave the skins in a pile.
留下果皮成堆.
Delicious!
啊! 人間美味!

Farmer’s simple food—-Sweet plum pork chop
農夫食譜—-蜜汁李豬排

1 or 2 pork chops, pounded thin, rubbed in small amount of sugar, salt, soy sauce
一或二塊豬排, 打薄, 抹擦少量糖鹽醬油
Dredge lightly in cornstarch as desired
撒些太白粉, 隨意
1 fully ripe plum, cross cut the round end
一個熟李子, 圓頭十字切開
some cooked greens
一些熟的綠菜葉

Method
做法
Pour the oil into large pan over moderate heat.
大鍋, 中溫, 放油.
Fry the pork chops for about 1-2 min. each side or until golden brown.
炸豬排, 每面各一至二分鐘或略呈焦黃.
Remove from pan, serve with the greens.
豬排起鍋與綠菜葉裝盤.
Squeeze the sweet plum juice over and enjoy.
擠上蜜李汁, 慢用.
