(5)Sept.27th北一女校友訪大王農場 TFGHA visited DW farm

不費多大功夫, 500片田七葉已摘好.
It didn’t take too long, Nung-fu had done with 500 Tiangchi leaves.
既然時間尚早, 農夫去池邊餵魚.
Might as well, there’s plenty of time for Nung-fu walking to the pond to feed the fish.
還沒餵好魚, 農夫瞥見一輛坐滿中國人的轎車開在小路上. 是去鄰居家的.
Hardly had fed the fish, Nung-fu clapped eyes on a sedan filled with Chinese moving on the country road. It went to the neighbor’s place.
不久, 車倒出來, 與另外二車一齊蝸牛爬向農場.
Soon it went back up and forwarded to the farm with two coming sedans at a snail’s pace in line.
油門稍微踩緊了, 塵土飛揚, 鄰居會抱怨.
Neighbors always complain speeding gets the mud stirred up.
明知城裡人趕時間, 下高速路後, 立刻減速慢行, 頗不容易.
Though the city folks are used to haste. It seems ridiculous to slow down right after off the highway.
我還是請灣華千萬提醒訪客們, 拜託開車走在鄉下泥土小路上, 最大時速十哩.
But I asked Wanhua inform the visitors driving on the country dirt road at 10 miles per hour is a must.
這時屋內電話響起, “嗨, 我們到了.”
In the meantime, the telephone was ringing inside the house, “Hi! We’re here!”
什麼? 農場開放時間是十點半, 現在才九點半都不到呢!(待續)
