Calendula is one of my favorite edible flowers.
After it cleaned by the rain,
Added some to my green bean rice.
Crunchy!

金盞花是我喜愛的可食花之一.
雨洗過後,
放些在綠豆飯上.
好脆!

  1. Chris says:

Is the rose cutting recent or from last fall?

After you cut the rose branches how do you
start a new plant? put in water to root,
or save somewhere in storage over winter?

You are making your rose garden larger?

  2. The cuttings are from last fall.
Leave them in the garage with a bucket of water do help them through the freezing coldness.
Now is the time for planting.
Give the rooting end a touch of root tone, and plant it in a pot.
New shoots will come out in 3-4 weeks.
This year I’ll plant some yellow roses to replace those gophers have taken their roots.
