What if the moon swam in the water?
A cold moon? A broken moon? An ugly moon?

The tidbits of the farm-The squirrel and the persimmons

The squirrel and the persimmons

Under the persimmon tree, the squirrel looked up to the fruits every day.
The persimmons were turning red.
Nung-fu covered the tree in a bird net from the damage of the birds.
The squirrel had been craving for the red persimmons only without a chance getting into the net.
Wandering around the tree, a gap was found in the net enough for the squirrel to go through.  The gap, neither too high nor too low, was just a little beyond his reach; climbing along the tree trunk, the net would block the way also.  To see the gap, not to go through.
The squirrel backed few steps and sped up forward.  Taking a big jump right down the net, grasped the net and hitched himself up into the net.
The squirrel picked a large red persimmon in the tree.

*”Nung-fu” is the pronunciation for “farmer” in Chinese.

  1. Chris says:

Wonderful description of the squirrel and the persimmons.

We are very sympathetic. Our squirrel is also waiting patiently for the persimmons to turn to the right color before they grab them and enjoy their special treat………..

  2. It doesn’t matter, whether in the city or in the country, we have the same problem.
Somebody like the squirrels, somebody don’t.
    Thanks for your understanding.
