Inside and outside,       what’s on earth make them so different?
The green green grasses are the same.
It’s only the fence,
Or the feeling matters.

青草綠地還不都是青草綠地.
不同在圍籬,
或感受不一樣.

Taste of Home Town—-Pickled Napa cabbage

Napa cabbage, 1 or 2 heads
Salt, 1/2 handful

Method

Pick the Napa cabbage leaves off

Let the leaves wither in a cool area 1 day

Place the withered leaves in container by layers
Sprinkle the salt between layers
Rub and mix the salt into leaves till juice comes out
Pour the juice and the leaves into container with lid covered
Leave it in a warm area for couple days
Check it gets sour, move to cool area for mature

*Make it slightly salty for speedy turning sour.

家鄉味—-鹽酸菜

山東大白菜, 一或二顆
鹽, 半手把

做法

摘下菜葉
置陰涼處一日, 待萎
將萎菜葉一層一層置盆內
每層菜葉略撒鹽

揉混菜葉與鹽至菜汁出來

倒菜汁與菜葉入罐蓋緊蓋子

置暖處數日
檢查變酸, 移置陰涼處待成熟

*不要太鹹, 使速變酸.
