“Look at the black wingtips, I’m quite sure this is the one.”
“I wondered if the global warming did something to its dark color,
Or this is not the one used to come last year.

Taste of Home Town—-Pickled Napa cabbage with/Squid
Pickled Napa cabbage, cut in julienne strips
Squid, 5-6 pcs., cleaned
Method
Add the squids in boiling water for 30 sec.
Cut the cooked squids in 4-5 segments
Pour 1 Ts oil in pan over high heat
Add the pickled Napa cabbage strips and stir fry for 2 min. till tender
Add the squid segments, mix well

鹽酸菜, 切細絲
生魷魚, 五或六個, 洗淨
做法
生魷魚入滾水30秒
熟魷魚一切四,五段
熱炒鍋, 放一大匙油
下鹽酸菜絲炒二分鐘至軟
下魷魚段炒勻

Chris,
I’ve learned a lot from allaboutbirds.org that the dark goose is also called blue goose.
A white snow goose visited the farm last year which was different in color from this one. Both of them come from the snow goose family.

After I read your blog, I was walking around Lake Elizabeth in Fremont, and happened to notice ten snow geese flying in formation from a nearby mountain. They glided slowly three times around the lake, and then came in for a long slow landing, just like an airplane coming into an airport after a long journey. If I had not read your blog, I would have never recognized these beautiful birds as they were snow white with dark tips on their wings. Thanks very much.
