The titbids of the farm-The peahen

The peahen was hatching the eggs under the guava bush.
She did the covert perfectly well.  From outside the underbrush, nobody knew what was going on there.
In couple days, the eggs were hard-set soon.  The peahen waited patiently.  While breaking through, she expected undisturbed.
The nosy dog with good sense of smell desperately set himself to sniff something out around the thicket.
It was unbearable, the peahen dashed out the thicket to the dog rudely.  Shoo! The peahen shot her fan open.
The peahen was in black, so was the fan.
Not only opened her fan, the peahen also jumped, flapped and kicked in the air frantically.
That scared the dog to draw himself off miles away.
With his tail pinched tightly, the dog had better make tracks.

農場小故事-  母孔雀開屏

母孔雀躲在芭樂樹下的草堆裡孵蛋.
牠的掩護工作做得很好.  草叢外面, 一點看不出裡面的動靜.
一兩天內, 小孔雀就要孵出來了.  母孔雀在靜靜等待.  出殼的過程, 牠不希望被打擾.
多管閒事的狗, 仗著靈敏的嗅覺, 儘在草叢附近轉, 想要嗅出個什麼名堂來.
母孔雀受不了狗老在牠身旁嗅啊嗅的, 冷不防從草叢裡竄出來, 唰! 母孔雀開屏.
母孔雀羽色烏黑, 開的是黑屏.
母孔雀一面開屏, 一面在空中又跳又飛又踢, 聲勢兇猛.
可把狗嚇得倒退三尺.
狗夾緊尾巴, 逃走為妙.
