A friend asked me how to cook the egg plant.
一個朋友問我如何燒茄子.
Old granny was used to cook it in the rice cooker.
老祖母慣常用電鍋蒸茄子.
It is simple and easy.
簡單容易.

Taste of Home Town-Steamed egg plant

Egg plant, 1 pc, sliced
Garlic, 3 cloves, finely chopped
Soy sauce, 2-3 Ts
Sesame oil, 2-3 ts

Method
Switch down to cook the rice in a rice cooker for about 5 min.
Quickly add egg plant in a steam pan/or right on the rice to cook with the rice
After switch up, wait 5-10 more min to make the egg plant tender
Remove the egg plant to a plate and cut it into shreds with chop sticks
Add chopped garlic, soy sauce and sesame oil, mix well

**The skin of the Chinese egg plant is much tender then that of American egg plant.

家鄉味-蒸紫茄

茄子, 1個, 切片
大蒜, 3粒, 剁碎
醬油, 2-3湯匙
蔴油, 2-3茶匙

做法
按下電鍋開關煮飯約5分鐘
迅速放進茄子在蒸盤上或米上與米同煮
開關跳起, 再等5-10分鐘, 讓茄子軟爛
移茄子到盤中, 用筷子將茄子割細
加蒜末醬油蔴油, 拌勻

**中國茄子比美國茄子皮嫩得多.
