Sunny afternoon, the air is still.
Under the grape arbor           I am napping,
Unexpectedly awakened by snatches of the peacock piping.
晴朗的午後, 空氣靜止了.
葡萄架下  正好眠,
誰知    陣陣孔雀高歌喚我醒.

The titbids of the farm-The willow tree and the mesh

There was a willow tree by the pond.
Goats came over circling around it and nibbled its trunk.
Geese came to peck its bark.
Nung-fu wrapped the trunk with the mesh to protect it.
The willow tree grew up year after year, its trunk grew big and strong enough to push itself through the wrap of the mesh.
The mesh was forced to cut the willow trunk into pieces.  The trunk pieces grew over the mesh and covered it.  Finally the mesh became part of the willow trunk.
The willow tree grew heartier, the leaves grew thicker.

農場小故事-柳樹與鐵絲網

池邊一棵柳樹.
羊群走過來, 圍繞著它.  啃嚙它的樹幹.
鵝群過來, 啄食它的樹皮.
農夫替柳樹幹包裹一層鐵絲網, 保護它.
柳樹年年長大, 柳樹幹年年粗壯, 拼命推擠壓迫外層包裹的鐵絲網.
鐵絲網硬將柳樹幹切割成小塊.  割成小塊的柳樹幹又長過鐵絲網, 包圍鐵絲網.  鐵絲網成了柳樹幹的一部分.
柳樹幹中有鐵絲網, 鐵絲網中有柳樹幹.
柳樹愈長愈壯大, 枝葉愈茂密.
