The titbids of the farm-The raccoon and the dog

One night a raccoon came to the farm for food.  The dog chased it to the top of a power pole growling at the base of the pole.
It was getting bright, the dog kept waiting for the raccoon to get down the pole and wouldn’t leave.
Daytime is the raccoon’s sleeping time.  It closed its eyes to take a short nap on top of the towering pole.
The dog saw it sleeping, left the guard to run for some water.  When the dog came back, the raccoon still slept like a log in the air.
The dog growled and waited.
The raccoon fell in deep sleep on the pole top.  The dog ran to drink water again.
The dog went to the water again.
The dog went again.
Again….
And again….
Catching the dog off guard, the raccoon stole down the pole and went out of sight along the creek.

農場小故事-浣熊(果子狸)與狗

浣熊夜晚來到農場覓食, 一路被狗追, 逃命逃上電線桿.  狗在下面狂吠不止.
天亮了, 狗還等在電線桿下, 不肯離去.
白天是浣熊睡眠的時間.  牠在高高的電線桿上閉起眼睛, 小睡片刻.
狗看牠睡著了, 暫停守衛, 跑去喝口水.  回來, 浣熊還在半空中熟睡.
狗在地面繼續狂吠, 繼續等浣熊下來.
浣熊仍在電線桿上呼呼大睡.  狗又跑去喝水.
狗再去喝水.
狗又喝水.
狗再…
狗又..
浣熊不聲不響, 順電線桿悄悄滑下來, 沿溪谷走掉了.
