The titbids of the farm-The skunk kung-fu
Skunks are small animals, especially good at the skunk kung-fu. The skunk kung-fu does not use kicking or hitting; and is neither painful, nor bleeding. The skunk kung-fu spurts yellow, misty, stinky smoke that smells horrible.
One skunk crossed the farm at a gallop to go home before day broke.
The dog saw the skunk and chased after it.
The skunk did not make a tunnel to hide underneath; it did not climb up the tree to escape the dog neither. It did not speed to flee for its life. It trotted along.
The dog almost caught up with it in few strides. The skunk took it easy, standing steadily, raised its bushy tail. It was ready for shooting.
The dog was spurted from head to toe by the skunk, and it took whole day to deodorize. The dog learned a hard lesson, that as long as the skunk’s tail was raised up, the dog must stop going forward. Only when its tail down, could the dog speed up chasing. Through all the way, the dog kept a certain distance with the skunk.
Taking few breaks while walking on its way, the skunk left the farm safe and sound.
農場小故事-臭鼬功
臭鼬是弱小的動物, 只會臭鼬功. 臭鼬功不踢不打, 不痛不血. 臭鼬功噴黃霧氣, 黃臭煙, 臭死人.
一隻臭鼬沿圍籬快步穿過農場, 趕在天亮之前回家.
狗看見臭鼬, 過去追牠.
臭鼬既不打洞, 躲進地下; 也不爬樹, 向上竄逃. 不飛奔亡命, 只小步快走.
狗幾個箭步, 就要追上臭鼬. 臭鼬反倒不慌不忙, 立定坐穩, 舉起尾巴, 準備放臭氣.
狗曾被臭鼬噴個滿頭滿身, 除臭除了一整天. 學乖了, 只要臭鼬的尾巴高高舉起, 狗暫停前進. 等臭鼬放下尾巴, 向前快走, 才繼續追牠. 始終與臭鼬保持適當的距離.
一路走走停停, 臭鼬平安走出農場.
